I’ve used this supplement twice in my life, not because I wanted hair growth but for other reasons. Here’s my story. I was blessed with very thick dark hair and lots of it. About 10 years ago (44 years old), I noticed hair was coming out like crazy when I was in the shower. I wasn’t too concerned because I have a lot of it to begin with. Well one day I noticed that my scalp was starting to show in certain areas. It’s something that I never thought would happen to me. I’ve never been able to see my scalp through my hair before! Here I am now having to be careful how I brushed it so the hair fell covering it up. At that same time, I saw an ad in a Health store flyer for Hyaluronic Acid (I’d never heard of it). It was being promoted as a supplement for anti-aging, wrinkles etc. Thanks to a lifetime of oily skin, I didn’t have any wrinkles but thought why not try it and see if it will take some years off my face. I didn’t notice a change in my skin but my hair grew back! No pink scalp showing through. I thought could it just be a coincidence? I eventually stopped taking it just because I was lazy with taking supplements. Fast-forward 10 years. I’m in menopause. One thing I’ve noticed in the past couple of years, is that I don’t have to shave my legs like I used to. Dark hairy legs came hand-in-hand with having thick dark hair on my head. I’d shave my legs and would have dark stubble on my legs within hours. I hated it! But now, I could go a week without shaving my legs and even after a week, I could maybe feel the hair but it wasn’t that visible. I started taking this Hyaluronic Acid about 10 days ago for joint pain. Well, the dark hair on my legs are back with a vengeance! No coincidence….it helps hair growth! I’m not upset about having to now shave my legs more, knowing that this supplement is probably turning back time in other areas.
